Our country relies on truck drivers for just about everything. I’m proud to be part the industry as a trainee road train driver. Having had a few career changes, this one is a big one. Learning isn’t easy, but I’m up for the challenge 💪🏻. I get to help make the country tick. Plus the scenery is incredible and it’s an amazing insight into humanity and how our beautiful country is faring. Nom, nom, nom. Mumma keeps an eye on her older joey (the last photo is of a little joey ear, I mean how can you not love that 😚) while she fills her tummy with some deliciousness. We can see her grabbing the branch with her powerful forelimb while she hangs on to the fork of the tree with her back limbs. Yes this is a wild pair local to Crows Nest area and we are happy to see how healthy she is 🍃

High Country Koala Action Group Inc.

An almost white Eastern Grey Kangaroo. She lives near us, and is the second generation I’ve seen of this colour variation, both females. Her joey was grey so maybe that’s the last of them.
I worry about her, she does stand out from the crowd. BTW we are semi-urban, just hanging on to the last fragments of ‘rural’.
