At Mance Electrical Tasmania, we’re looking for a qualified electrician with a split system install licence who wants variety, challenge, and the opportunity to use their full skill set.

You’ll still install heat pumps—but you’ll also work across diverse electrical projects, develop your skills further, and help train others coming through the trade.

About the Role
We’re seeking a qualified Electrician with a Split System Installation Licence to join our growing team in Launceston, TAS.

This is a full-time role offering stability, strong earning potential, and a wide range of work across residential, commercial, and electrical service projects.

You’ll play an important role in heat pump installations while also contributing to a broader range of electrical work and mentoring apprentices.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
• Installing split system and ducted heat pumps and air conditioning systems
• Carrying out electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults
• Working across residential and commercial electrical projects
• Helping guide and train apprentices and junior electricians
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards
• Providing great service to clients who value quality workmanship
• Recording work completed and materials used

What We’re Looking For
• Licensed Electrician
• Split System Installation Licence (required)
• Strong experience installing heat pumps / split systems
• High-level experience across multiple areas of the electrical trade – residential and/or commercial
• Someone who enjoys variety in their work
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
• A team player who communicates well and takes pride in their work
• Someone who is happy to support and help train apprentices
• Keen to keep learning and developing professionally
