Local footy is where it all starts.

This season, we’re partnering with the NTFA Inc. to help keep community football strong and make sure support flows back to local clubs.

Because when you switch your energy to Solstice, your club benefits too.

As our CEO Phaedra Deckart shared at the launch, local sport matters because our people live, work and play in these communities.

Here’s to a big season ahead.

Relay for Life is back
Members of the Solstice Energy team will be on the track in Launceston this Saturday, taking part in the 12 hour relay to raise funds for Cancer Council Tasmania.

For many of our team this is more than a community event, it's personal.

Good luck to everyone participating💜

A full room, three iconic Tasmanian teams, and one clear message: when you invest in people, everyone wins.

The Solstice Energy International Women’s Day lunch brought together the Tasmania Football Club , Tasmania Jewels and Hobart Hurricanes for a celebration of women in sport, leadership and community. The theme “Give to Gain” captured something simple but powerful, with plenty of stories about backing talent, opening doors and lifting others along the way.

There’s something very Tasmanian about that idea. When people support what’s being built here, momentum follows. Teams grow. Leaders emerge. Communities get stronger.

That’s the kind of energy we like to be part of.

We started here more than two decades ago, building and operating the state’s gas network. Those roots still run deep. Today we have grown into a Tassie-based energy business supplying both gas and electricity, but the principle hasn’t changed: invest in the place you’re part of.

That’s why supporting events like this matters.

Backing women in sport and leadership isn’t just good for the individuals on stage; it strengthens clubs, communities and the next generation coming through behind them.

“Give to Gain” might be this year’s International Women’s Day theme, but it’s also a pretty good description of how Tasmania works.

Thanks to everyone who made the event possible and to the athletes and leaders continuing to bring a different kind of energy to Tasmanian sport.

We’re excited to be back as a Ride Sponsor for this year’s Sally’s Ride – The Tamar Valley Cycle Challenge, with our team jumping into both the Solstice 50km challenge as well as the ALA Finance 10km family ride.

Sally’s Ride has grown into an incredible community event supporting mental health initiatives across Tasmania, and it’s one we’re really proud to get behind. Our crew love getting out for a ride, and this Sunday 23rd November we’ll be joining cyclists from across the state to support a cause that genuinely makes a difference.

Looking forward to another great day on the bikes!
