Born in George Town, Tasmania, Danny’s cycling story is one of courage, grit and global success. He started riding at age 13 and went on to win five world championships, a silver medal at the 1972 Munich Olympics, and an amazing 74 six-day race titles, making him one of the most successful six-day riders of all time.
On Saturday 22 November, you’ll have the chance to hear Danny share his stories at our Pre-Ride Dinner, and on Sunday he’ll be out on the ride with us in Launceston.
