The Grow Guys
Gardening supplies and hydroponic specialists
If you want to level up, focus on these:
• High quality, reputable genetics — garbage in, garbage out
• Light levels dialled in (PPFD matched to stage)
• Environment locked down (VPD sitting in the sweet spot, kPa)
• Watering and feeding consistency (EC, pH, runoff, every single time)
• Knowing your numbers — not guessing them
• Logging what you do so you can repeat what works
• Showing up daily, even when nothing looks like it’s changing
The great ones aren’t doing anything magical. They’re doing the basics better than everyone else, every single day.
Want help dialling yours in? Pop into the store or hit thegrowguys.com.au — happy to talk you through it.
Don’t grow with the seasons — build the season.
Just dropped a full walkthrough on the channel: setting up the complete Vivosun climate control package in a 5x5 tent. Heaters, AC, humidifier, dehumidifier, exhaust fan and the E42A smart controller — the lot.
This is how you take a grow tent from “box with a light” to a fully automated environment that holds temp and humidity year-round, no matter what’s happening outside.
We cover the bits most beginners stuff up too — carbon filter airflow direction (arrows matter), why the filter sock isn’t optional if smell’s a concern, and a cheeky reminder to grab some Method Sevens before you’re squinting under full-spec LEDs.
Whether you’re a first-time tent builder or upgrading an old setup, this one’s worth a watch.

Indoor vs outdoor growing — let’s settle it.
Outdoor growing has its charm. Sunshine, fresh air, working with the seasons. But here’s the reality of what you’re signing up for…
The outdoor reality:
• One growing season per year
• Weather can wipe you out overnight
• Pests and animals destroying your crop
• Frost, hail, heatwaves — all out of your control
• Theft from anyone walking past
• Inconsistent quality, year to year
Why indoor growing wins:
• Year-round crops, regardless of season
• You control temp, humidity, light, and CO2
• Multiple harvests per year
• No weather wipeouts
• No pests destroying months of work
• No one nicking your crop
• Consistent quality, every single grow
• Grow what you want, when you want it
The season doesn’t dictate your harvest. You do.
That’s the whole point of a controlled environment. Build it right, dial it in, and Mother Nature can do whatever she wants outside.
Whether it’s leafy greens through a Tassie winter or tomatoes in July — indoor means you call the shots.

The team that makes the dream
Jess, Marty, Cam and Jack
All four make sure the cogs are always turning
Real store, Real People
Winter’s coming and your labels are about to disappear. Jess is here to save your dahlia patch.
Frost changes everything. Once it hits, those plants you’ve been growing all season suddenly look identical — and if you’re working with cuttings, you can’t wait for flowers to confirm what’s what.
Jess’s trick: flagging tape from any hardware store (comes in heaps of colours) and a trusty Sharpie. Write the dahlia name, tie it low on the stem, done. No more lost labels when you’re digging up tubers, no more mystery plants come spring.
Simple system, saves your whole season.

Banners are up and I’m grinning like an idiot.
Two years in and we’ve got proper artwork on the side of the building. Mental.
Huge love to every brand that’s backed us — wouldn’t be doing any of this without you!
And Hannah at Rebel Signs — you and the team smashed it. Top job.
If you’re in Tas, swing past and have a look. Unit 10/110 Gleadow St, Invermay.
Come see ’em.
Stop binning your trim. Turn it into gold.
You spent months dialling in lighting, nutes and VPD to grow it right.
Then most growers throw the trim straight in the bin.
The Wild Butter Machine flips that. Decarb, stir, heat and infuse — one button, one vessel, one clean extraction. Oils, butters, tinctures, topicals. From your bench to a finished product without the messy oven juggle.
Precision temp (0–121°C) and timing (0.5–12 hrs) so you can dial in for any botanical. Quiet, insulated, food-grade. Comes with butter, leaf and hexagon moulds + a recipe book to get you rolling.
On sale — $314.95 (was $395).
