What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises Flood peaks continue to move through the Culgoa and Birrie Rivers. Along the Culgoa River, the flood peak is approaching Brenda, where river levels may peak late this week. Along the Birrie River, river levels at Goodooga are expected to remain below the minor flood level and are approaching their peak.

The Bokhara River at Goodooga peaked below the minor flood level on Tuesday evening.

Along the Narran River, river levels at New Angledool No 2 have fallen below the minor flood level, following a moderate flood peak on Monday evening.

Flooding is no longer expected along the Birrie River.

The Birrie River at Goodooga is currently at 2.86 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Birrie River at Goodooga is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.20 m).

Flooding is no longer expected along the Bokhara River.

The Bokhara River at Goodooga peaked at 2.52 m around 09:45 pm Tuesday 31 March, below the minor flood level. The river is currently at 2.49 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Bokhara River at Goodooga is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m).

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by floodwaters:

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises The flood peak observed last week at Dirranbandi along the Lower Balonne River in Queensland is moving down through the Culgoa, Birrie, Bokhara and Narran River systems. The flood peak along the Culgoa River is around Woolerbilla, along the Bokhara River is around Hebel and along the Narran River is below Dirranbandi-Hebel Road.

Along the Narran River moderate flooding is occurring at Angledool, with a moderate flood peak possible during Wednesday. At Brenda and Goodooga, minor flooding is possible from mid-week.

The Birrie River at Goodooga is currently at 2.32 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level. The Birrie River at Goodooga may reach around the minor flood level (3.20 m) around mid-week.

The Bokhara River at Goodooga is currently at 2.42 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level. The Bokhara River at Goodooga may reach around the minor flood level (2.70 m) around mid-week.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by dangerous floodwaters:

- Primary producers in low-lying areas should move pumps and livestock to higher ground.
- Low-lying roads, bridges and causeways along the river and creeks.
- Unsealed roads may become impassable.

You should stay informed by monitoring warnings issued by NSW SES on their website and page, listening to your local ABC radio station, and checking the latest weather information from the Bureau of Meteorology online.

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises The main flood peak along the Lower Balonne River in Queensland is now downstream of Dirranbandi. This flood water will move down through the Culgoa, Birrie, Bokhara, and Narran river systems with river level rises possible over the next few days.

Along the Narran River minor flooding is occurring at Angledool, with moderate flooding possible from early next week. At Brenda and Goodooga, minor flooding is possible from early next week.

The Culgoa River at Brenda is currently at 3.37 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Culgoa River at Brenda may reach the minor flood level (4.90 m) from Monday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by dangerous floodwaters:

- Low-lying roads, bridges and causeways along the river and creeks.
- Unsealed roads may still be impassable.
- Relocation of stock may be required.

You should stay informed by monitoring warnings issued by NSW SES on their website and page, listening to your local ABC radio station, and checking the latest weather information from the Bureau of Meteorology online.

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises The main flood peak along the Lower Balonne River in Queensland is now downstream of Dirranbandi. This flood water will move down through the Culgoa, Birrie, Bokhara, and Narran river systems with river level rises possible over the next few days.

Along the Narran River minor flooding is occurring at Angledool, with moderate flooding possible from early next week. At Brenda and Goodooga, minor flooding is possible from early next week.

The Narran River at New Angledool No 2 is currently at 3.33 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Narran River at New Angledool No 2 may reach around the moderate flood level (3.50 m) early next week. Further rises are possible.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by dangerous floodwaters:

- Primary producers in low-lying areas should move livestock and equipment to higher ground.
- Low-lying roads, bridges and causeways along the river and creeks.
- Unsealed roads may become impassable.
- Angledool Road (SR102) may close at the Narran River Bridge, 10km east of Angledool. This means that there will be no direct road access between Angledool and Collarenebri.
