No matter the sport you play, injuries are always possible, returning to the sport can be the hardest thing to do. Not the physical recovery, but the mental recovery. Yes, the physical recovery can be tough but learning to block the voice in your head saying it’s gonna happen again is something that can take years. Speaking from experience, I still hear this voice every time something feels a little different. Recovering from injury isn’t a quick process, so make sure your mental recovery is just a well-equipped as the physical recovery. These videos are 2 years apart. #

We get asked a lot when lifting how should you warm up, The answer is always treat your warm ups like your max.
Your warm up is there to prepare your body for the movement it’s about to complete and allow for weight adaption so should be put through the same movement pattern, if you half ass your warm up there is a chance of injury and also a half ass performance.
