Yes, we've built an app but have you heard about our online course - Burnout No More?

When we released the beta version of the Fwards app, we were so excited to think that technology could help make shift work just a little bit easier. The app's grown and developed since we released the first version in the middle of a pandemic.

We were hearing that there was so much more pain underneath than many of us have felt before. Stress and pressure like we've never seen before. We kept hearing from nurses, paramedics and doctors who were asking themselves,

- Is this job sustainable?
- I already felt uncertain; what will now happen with a pandemic?
- Am I good enough to stay strong?

There was tension just like we'd felt before, and we asked ourselves whether an app would be enough. Will Fwards make the difference the healthcare world needs?

After many deep conversations, it was clear that we needed to do more. Athol had lived through burnout and found a way through to thrive.

We'll be sharing concepts from the course over the next month to keep the conversation going and hope we can help support anyone asking themselves if they are good enough to stay in healthcare.

Wednesday Journal thoughts

I certainly need to work on the name though after a very successful introduction in the group calls of the Burnout No More course, I've been inspired to keep the journal practice going, and it feels reasonable that I share a part of these thoughts with the Fwards community as I hope to engrain this very beneficial practice into my week.

After a massive two weeks achieving both individual and team aspirations, I'm reflecting on how powerful mateship can be when the going gets tough.

When the nerves started to set in, I knew my mates in the LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator program were standing right with me as I pitched fwards.

The same can be said about my inspirational teammates in the . When I thought the pain in my toes would get the best of me, they were with me for every downhill traverse.

Two different but very similar groups of legends.

Will you keep the practice going with me every Wednesday?

Athol
