The Australian Signals Directorate has issued a critical alert after cyber criminals began targeting vulnerable website plugins on platforms like WordPress, Joomla + others.

If your business has a website, it's worth checking in with whoever manages it. Review the list of affected plugins in the alert, make sure everything is up to date + disable any plugins that have known vulnerabilities until a security update is available.

A little preventative action now could save a major headache later.
