🐰 From Landfill to Lifesaving Care ❀️

We’re incredibly honoured to be featured in the latest Medical Pantry newsletter, where we were able to share our rescue journey and what their support means to us.

Every rabbit that comes into our care deserves the best possible chance at recovery and a happy future. Through Medical Pantry, we’re able to access valuable medical supplies that might otherwise go to landfill, turning something discarded into something that helps save lives.

These supplies play an important role in our everyday rescue work. They allow us to provide immediate first aid to stabilise injured or unwell rabbits while we arrange urgent veterinary care, and they continue to support rabbits throughout their rehabilitation under veterinary guidance.

For a small, self funded rescue, this kind of support genuinely changes what we’re able to do. It helps us reduce waste, lower our ever growing costs, and most importantly, put more resources directly into veterinary treatment and care for the rabbits who need it most.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Medical Pantry for supporting rescues like ours and for sharing our story. Partnerships like this remind us how much can be achieved when compassion and sustainability come together.

We’d also encourage anyone with surplus or unused medical supplies to consider reaching out to Medical Pantry directly. They do incredible work redirecting usable stock away from landfill and into the hands of charitable organisations where it can make a real difference.

Thank you, as always, to everyone who supports our rescue and the rabbits in our care ❀️🐰

🀍 Meet Albus 🀍

Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond his family's control, sweet Albus urgently needs a new place to call home. We are looking for either a loving foster home or a forever adoptive home for him as soon as possible.

Born on 6 January 2025, Albus is a gorgeous white Netherland Dwarf with an incredibly affectionate nature. He loves grooming his humans as a way of showing his love and thrives on spending time with his familyβ€”especially the 13-year-old daughter in his current home, who he absolutely adores.

Albus enjoys exploring the house, investigating every nook and cranny, and taking part in treasure hunts that satisfy his curious nature. While he isn't particularly interested in toys, he loves running through his tunnel, wandering around the home, and simply being close to his people.

In the future, Albus would love to be bonded with a gentle female Netherland Dwarf so they can spend their days grooming one another, snuggling together, and enjoying the companionship every bunny deserves.

Albus is desexed, vaccinated, and litter trained, and is looking for a safe indoor-only home where he will be cherished as part of the family.

⏰ He needs care before this Thursday at the latest.

If you can foster or adopt Albus, or know someone who can, please get in touch. Sharing his post could make all the difference in helping this beautiful little boy find the loving home he deserves. πŸ€πŸ‡
