More precision machining for aerospace! 🛰️

Here are the Binar Space Program CubeSat's deployment pins, machined by our in-house machinist, Brent.

These are essential for the satellite's release mechanism once in orbit. It’s great to be part of local WA manufacturing supporting space exploration.

Mobile test automation doesn’t have to be clunky or over-engineered!

Maestro keeps things fast, readable and flexible, so you can spend less time wrangling test frameworks and more time shipping quality code. It works with your stack, whether you’re building in Swift, Kotlin, React Native or Flutter, and fits straight into your existing CI pipeline.

Christiaan Lamprecht, Senior Developer at Adapptor, shows how Maestro helps developers write meaningful, maintainable tests using simple YAML flows and a rich set of commands. From tapping buttons to full UAT runs, from local devices to cloud environments, Maestro keeps it smooth, scriptable and developer-friendly, with a few AI-powered tricks along the way.

This was presented at the May edition of the Perth Mobile App Developers Meetup, hosted by Adapptor. For future event updates, check out the link in our page description to the official Meetup page!

It’s handy having a precision pick-and-place line here in WA for those tricky jobs!

This circuit board was for our client Koodaideri’s HydraTune SafeAdjust system, which keeps technicians safe by enabling remote hydraulic maintenance.

This PCB facilitates control of an industrial stepper motor by an Android application.

Key to achieving HydraTune’s wireless capabilities were this board’s LGA wireless module and impedance-controlled antenna traces.

We took advantage of our precision pick-and-place machine and vaporphase soldering oven to nail those small pitched components, even those tiny 0402s.

Small part? No problem!

This is the Cranio Locking Comb, a precision CNC-machined component measuring just 14 Ă— 8 Ă— 2 mm, made from 6061-T6 aluminium.

It’s a critical mechanical element in the Cranio Pro-IO system, and it’s also a perfect example of what our bar-fed DMG MORI Y-axis lathe handles with ease.

Machined automatically from bar stock, this part came off the lathe with consistent tolerances, crisp features and minimal handling.

For tight, repeatable parts at this scale, automation and setup matter just as much as spindle time.

Tiny parts aren’t a challenge when the process is dialled in!
