🌟 Ability Belong Create 🌟
Activity Junction is a place to come and let your creativity run free. ART AND CRAFT FUN

15/08/2025

Over the last 8 months, I have met some absolutely wonderful crafters.
Beautiful, amazing people who have supported Activity Junction to become what it is.
Unfortunatel, it saddens me to have to let you all know that Saturday the 16th of August will be our last day.
Due to u foreseen circumstances, Activity Junction will be closing its doors.

Please don't leave our socials though, I will try to stay active with craft ideas through other content creators. In the coming months, I will try and set up Mobile craft options. Your home, local markets, community centres and so forth.
In the new year, Activity Junction will once again open new doors some where in the peel.
We will get bigger and better.

Much love ❀

Join us for a unique and inclusive ceramics workshop that goes beyond traditional pottery—inviting you to explore perspective, identity, and self-expression through clay.

Two Day Event

Part One: Saturday 21/6/25 12pm - 3pm

Part Two: Sunday 22/6/25 12pm - 3pm

Guided by Tay (they/he), a passionate ceramicist with lived experience of Tourette’s and autism, this workshop blends technical skill-building with deep personal reflection in a safe and welcoming environment. You’ll learn fundamental clay techniques—including pinch pots, coils, and slab building—and use them to create meaningful artworks that tell your story.

We’ll begin by exploring how we see others, creating a piece that represents someone else’s perspective. From there, you’ll be invited to reflect inward and create a personal piece that expresses your own identity and experiences.

This workshop is perfect for all experience levels—from first-time creators to seasoned artists. Expect a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere filled with creativity, connection, and plenty of laughter.

What’s Included:

Hands-on instruction in core ceramic techniques
All materials and tools provided
A welcoming, inclusive space with accessibility considerations
Light refreshments provided
Your unique ceramic pieces will be professionally fired and can be collected after the event

Who Should Attend?

Targeted at young adults exploring identity
Anyone interested in creative self-expression
People with disability and lived experience of diversity
Community members eager to explore art and connection
Beginners and experienced artists alike
Inclusive to all
Support workers/people welcome
