The good, the bad and the ugly about on-location photoshoots.
You might have noticed that I have been posting more in-home shoots over the past year. It’s not because I don’t love my pretty on-location shoots, far from it. It is so rewarding to meet a family at a lovely spot and just go for a walk together, stopping to take photos, finding new spots, it’s wonderful. 
But truth be told most of my shoots are rearranged and rescheduled multiple times especially in the summer months. That’s because we live in Brisbane, a beautiful but unpredictably wet state. (We do have twice the amount of rain than London after all!). It’s a difficult way to earn a living when you are constantly rescheduling jobs. So I have decided to focus more on the In-Home sessions for obvious reasons. I will continue to love the shoots I do outdoors but they will be a lot less over the next year and only during the week as blocking out precious time on the weekend away from my little family is not ideal just for the shoot to be rearranged last minute.
I know you all will understand this as we are all doing our best to enjoy what we do and provide for our own families and have balance in our life. 
Thank you to all of my dear families who have entrusted me to document their milestones! I have loved every single one of your shoots. I have been overwhelmed many times with emotional meeting you and editing your photos seeing the absolute love you have for eachother # # #
