Saturday, 20 June, 2026. Sailing Report
We were greeted with a beautiful sunny morning with a cool NW 10knot breeze.
Unfortunately, we were a few short on numbers of volunteers. Still managed to get the boats rigged & inthe water by 9.10am. Total number of volunteers was 12.
First participants were Shane, Craig & Gracie. They were taken for a sail by Ragnhild, Peter B. & Warwick. John W. was the skipper on C.C., Ken as photographer & Bailey Grant (D. of Eden) was a great learner driver. Pontoon duties were carried out by Joe, Gary C., Robert & Caroline F. Michael B. arrived & was straight into a Hansa as skipper with participant Vanessa.
Other participants from Luz All Abilities Ceralabalpasy arrived & all enjoyed time on the water.
Last sailing was at 11.30 am & then all packing up was completed by 12:30pm.
Another enjoyable morning at Manly Sailability.

Tuesday, 28 April, 2026. Sailing Report
This morning’s forecast was for a beautiful, fine & sunny morning, with light winds. Unfortunately the wind strength turned out to be somewhat disappointing. It commenced as a very light Southerly wind, fortunately building after a while to a useful breeze for the sailors, & then going calm again.
Despite that, everyone on the sailing boats returned with big smiles.
We rigged & launched 5 Hansa 303’s (2 person dinghies). With participants numbers down a little for the day, those who sailed had much more time on the water than usual.
Skippers for today were: John, Denis, Michael, Jackie, Skye & David. Warwick & Ken again operated the es**rt boat, Charlie’s Chariot. Corey undertook his usual efficient role of radio operator & boat scheduler. Malcolm, Peter & Nola were kept busy on the pontoon.
We had a surprise visit of 2 members of Airlie Beach QLD Sailability. They are friends of Skye & they managed to experience Manly Cove from Charlie’s Chariot.
A positive morning was experienced by all.
