Today we're sharing an important fundraiser from Beagle Rescue QLD for several dogs currently in their care who need urgent veterinary treatment, including one very special girl to us – Zara. ❤️🐾
Zara is one of our patients and is currently in long-term foster with a wonderful carer who has been part of our clinic family for many years. After sadly saying goodbye to her own much-loved dog a couple of years ago, she opened her heart and home to Zara, giving her the love and care she deserves.
Recently, Zara was diagnosed with a mass on her spleen and now requires a splenectomy. This surgery will give her the best chance moving forward, but it also comes with veterinary costs.
Rescues like Beagle Rescue QLD never hesitate to step up when animals need them, and their foster carers pour their hearts into giving these dogs a second chance.
We'd love to help them by spreading the word.

🚨Important Wildlife Admission Update 🚨
To help protect our team, our patients, and our community following the recent cases of H5N1 (Avian Influenza), we have introduced a temporary change to our wildlife admission process.
Until further notice, we are unable to accept wildlife patients at our clinic.
If you find sick or injured wildlife, please do not bring the animal into the clinic. Instead, contact the Emergency Animal Disease Watch Hotline on 1800 675 888 for advice on the safest next steps.
Signs that may be seen include:
🦆 Lethargy or weakness
🦆 Reduced or no appetite
🦆 Difficulty breathing or respiratory distress
🦆 Neurological signs such as tremors, loss of coordination, difficulty walking, or seizures
For your own safety, please avoid handling wildlife unless absolutely necessary and seek advice before attempting to transport an animal.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while these temporary precautions are in place. We'll continue to share updates as recommendations change.
