We'd like to shine a spotlight on our wonderful CEO, Rebecca Adam ✨

Celebrating her birthday today, we asked her to reflect on the last year as well as the year ahead at Expression Australia 🎉

Video caption:
Looking back on the past 12 months, what has been one of your proudest moments at Expression Australia? One of my proudest moments has been seeing our teams come together to strengthen our services and expand our impact. Whether through new programs, stronger partnerships, or improved ways of working, it's been inspiring to see the difference we can make when we work toward a shared purpose.

What do you enjoy most about leading Expression Australia? The people. I have the privilege of working alongside passionate, talented, and committed individuals who genuinely care about creating a more inclusive community. Their dedication motivates me every day.

What is one thing you hope to continue building or achieving in the year ahead? I hope to continue building a strong, sustainable organisation that can expand its reach and impact, while remaining focused on the needs and aspirations of the Deaf community and the people we support.

Outside of work, what is one thing you enjoy doing to switch off and recharge? Spending quality time with family and friends is what helps me recharge. I also enjoy getting outdoors, whether it's a walk, a weekend away, or simply taking time to appreciate a slower pace.
