Happy new year! 🥂

What a year it’s been at workchapters.

In 2025, we supported clients across Australia and internationally in North America, the UK and Asia through some of their most complex people challenges.

From workplace investigations and organisational change to compliance, culture and fast-growth support, our fractional HR and employee relations specialists continued to work as a trusted extension of leadership teams navigating change at pace.

We also made space to step back and reset. Our strategy days were a standout, with Sorrento reminding us that some of the best ideas really do come to life by a pool. We launched new merch, moved into our Collins Street office, celebrated four years in business, and wrapped the year with our Summer Social.

Thank you to our clients, consultants and colleagues for being part of our journey - we’re excited for what 2026 will bring!

🎄Tip Five for End Of Year Workplace Social Events.

Handling complaints + taking them seriously.

Hopefully your upcoming spring/summer work social events go off without a hitch. But, if you do receive a complaint, as an employer you should take it seriously, act promptly, and take appropriate action where necessary.

Have a complaints
process and investigations process documented in your workplace policies, ensuring your policies note the full scope of the policy e.g.
coverage for work events and ‘out of hours’ functions is important.

Workplace training is also really important to bring your policies to life. The end of the year is a great time to conduct annual Respect@Work training, encouraging appropriate behaviours in the workplace both during normal working hours and at work functions.

Want a quick ‘health check’ on your suite of workplace
policies? Contact Us to book a call.

And if you do have a complaint, we can assist to investigate the incident.
