This is one of the oldest homes in Richmond, Tasmania — carefully restored over four years by an owner committed to preserving it properly.
When part of the structure began to settle, the original footings beneath the wall were minimal and no longer providing adequate support.
The request was simple:
Return the building to its original mortar line.
