2 job opportunities up for grabs. The only difference between the two is a qualification.
If you don’t hold a qualification, you’ll be eligible for the Wheel Repair Technician role (based on experience and skill, of course).
If you do hold a qualification, you’re eligible for both roles.

These are mobile roles, so travelling in a company van will be part of the job – a great way to see more of Melbourne or Sydney while you work!

📌 JOB OPPORTUNITY - Ormeau, QLD (Not a scam)

Workshop/Field Support Fitter

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Fitter to join the team in Ormeau, QLD. This is a hands-on role involving both routine servicing and urgent breakdown support to help keep our clients moving.

Ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a team-focused environment, this role also includes assisting the production workshop during quieter periods — applying your mechanical expertise where it’s needed most.

Pay rate: $45 - $55ph

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Carrying out repairs and servicing on truck bodies, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Performing scheduled maintenance to minimise downtime and extend vehicle lifespan
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and delivering effective solutions
• Supporting the production team with assembly and fabrication when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
• Providing quality workmanship and great service
• Keeping accurate records of all work performed

What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified mechanic, fitter, or someone with a relevant trade background
• Experience with truck bodies, hydraulics or mechanical repairs (preferred but not essential)
• A team player who’s happy to jump in and help where needed
• Solid problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
• Strong commitment to safety standards
• HR truck licence required
• Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
