Navigating Holidays
The holiday season can bring some extra stress for some of us, we are busy, we usually spend time with people we might not see often (family etc) and we can tend to carry so many expectations when it comes to what this time of the year “should” be like.
Our tips today are:
Set boundaries and choose how you spend your time
Let go of the stories about how this time “should” be and instead appreciate the beautiful moments that are always hidden in there somewhere
Slow down - does it all really have to happen by “the end of the year” or “by Christmas” - let the finish line be flexible rather than rigid
