It was National Pear Week, and if you’ve followed us for a while, you’ll know we’re big pear fans. 🍐

Fresh pears, juicy pears, quirky-looking pears, pears that become delicious Pear Brandy… we love them all.

So here’s to one of our favourite fruits and the people who grow them. Cheers to National Pear Week! 🥃🍐

While we were busy making schnapps in Australia… some of us went on a little field trip to the Triberger Schinkenfest in the Black Forest. 🇩🇪

Because if you make traditional German schnapps, you occasionally have to check how traditions are doing back home…

Good news:
The Trachten (traditional costumes) are still fabulous, the bands still loud, the ham still delicious - and schnapps still very necessary. 🥃
