🥩 Real meat.

10/06/2026

I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since this photo was taken.

Standing on stage in Singapore after Magic Valley won the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein startup competition was one of those moments I’ll never forget.

When I started Magic Valley in 2020, most people thought cultivated meat was science fiction.

Today, we’ve developed cultivated lamb and pork, launched Rogue Pet, attracted customers from around Australia, and continued moving toward bringing cultivated meat to market.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the award itself.

It’s what our small team has managed to achieve since then.

We’ve built world-leading technology, secured international recognition, launched products, and continued growing despite having only a fraction of the resources available to many companies in our industry.

Every step forward reinforces my belief that the future of meat doesn’t have to come from farms.

It can come from science.

It can taste like the meat people already know and love.

And it can dramatically reduce our reliance on animals.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last six months. Investors, advisors, customers, friends, family, and the broader community.

We’re just getting started.

The next chapter is going to be exciting 🚀

We’re excited to share that Magic Valley has been named a semi-finalist in the 2026 Australian Technologies Competition.

This recognition reflects the momentum we’re building as we continue scaling our cultivated meat platform, expanding commercial pathways and helping position Australia at the forefront of sustainable food technology.

We’re proud to be building real meat without animals, right here in Australia.

Thank you to the ATC team for recognising our work.

We’re excited to share that Magic Valley has been nominated for the Future Food Award at the 2026 Australian Agritech Awards 🎉

This award celebrates innovations helping transform how food is produced, processed and brought to market.

For us, it’s another strong signal that cultivated meat has an important role to play in building a more sustainable food system.

Proud to be representing Australian food tech.

A big moment for Magic Valley 🧡

Peter Singer recently shared his thoughts after tasting our cultivated lamb meatball:

“Very tasty and quite juicy.”

That means a lot coming from one of the world’s most important voices on animal ethics.

This is why we’re building cultivated meat.

Real meat.
Real taste.
No need to harm animals.

The future of food is getting closer.
