Five years ago I was caught, quite fortuitously, in Darwin during lockdown.

To celebrate this freedom, I wrote a song called “Larrakia Sunset”.

This shaky iPhone footage is the first time I ever played it live, supporting Eskimo Joe at The Mayberry.

A lot has happened since then, but the song stuck with me.

Fast forward five years and it’s finally been released into the world.

Funny how some songs take the long road home.
