Victorian Department of Health releases clan lab note The Victorian Department of Health has released the ‘Clandestine Laboratory Remediation: Environmental Health Practice Note’ to provide Environmental Health officers (EHOs) in Victoria with a practical blueprint of how to deal with clandestine drug labs in their jurisdiction.

The new clan lab data report for 2010-2011 has been released, and it shows that:
- 703 labs have been detected by police in Australia in the last year
- the majority of clan labs continue to be found in residential areas
- there as been a 63% increase in the use of the Nazi/Birch m**hod (using anhydrous ammonia) for producing m**h
