Yesterday at our Lilydale branch, we had Artisan Rug Maker Mahamad dazzling us with his brilliance, repairing a couple of holes in this 5 x 7m hand woven Behruz Rug by Afghani weavers.

Notice the colours of the pattern of the rug in the dirt from a rug that has just been dusted. This is caused by sand and grit breaking down the fibres of the rug. This soil cannot be removed with normal vacuuming or even steam cleaning, which is another reason you should have your rugs cleaned regularly by the Oriental Rug Spa.
