After four unexpected nights in hospital, my elbow reconstruction is now complete. On the second image you can see the free floating dome lost in space, now pinned back where it should be.

From here the biggest risk is the joint losing range of motion, so rehab starts fairly quickly. I hope I can still play piano, guitar, and sign with ease. Promise to be a good patient! Still can’t believe I did all this tripping over my own two feet 🙄

Thank you for sharing this year with me. I’ve experienced things I never dreamed possible, made new friends from all over the world and accidentally sung Chicago next to Olivia Dean in a piano bar.

A huge shout-out to the for being the absolute peak. I’m still not sure how I’ll ever top that.
