The VMC was excited to host a workshop for the Miss Junubia Women in Leadership program in Werribee on Saturday.

VMC Commissioner Sylvia Coombe and several Multicultural Youth Network members led a workshop to build confidence, develop leadership skills and strengthen community connection. By bringing together young women who identify as African or African-Australian , the workshop allowed attendees to connect and share their experiences and aspirations in a safe space for learning and listening.

Led by a Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll inductee, the VMC is proud to see Miss Junubia's success as it continues to promote confidence, empower cultural identity and prevent gender inequality for diverse young women.
