Why I'm 100% sold on getting audience feedback for my films now and forever more 🙌

When you have $0 and AI could help audiences connect with your initial idea faster... do you use it? Or should we avoid AI at all costs as creatives?

Working on 🍒 "Cherry" 🍒 was honestly SO MUCH FUN!!

The kind of collaboration that reminds me why I do this in the first place and exactly what I want filmmaking to be for me - fluid roles, shared ownership, everyone contributing their creativity to realise a collective vision.

I felt that completely with Dre and Shenzi!

The moment I told the idea and she was instantly keen, I knew this would be a great collaboration and a fun project. Her enthusiasm was infectious and it carried right through the entire process. Being on set and in post together felt seamless, energising, and on the same wavelength 🙌

And the work that .shenzi put into resurrecting this routine - incredible!!!! (and so 🔥🔥🔥) I’m so grateful she trusted the vision and jumped in with so much openness and energy.

This project had so much space to play, to follow instinct, to expand on ideas as they emerged. Highly creative, deeply collaborative, and further reaffirming why I love the method.
