Home is where you're most comfortable and the Support at Home program helps you stay there.

Domestic assistance can help with everyday tasks that may become harder over time:
๐Ÿ  House cleaning
๐Ÿ‘• Laundry and ironing
๐Ÿ›’ Grocery shopping
๐Ÿงน General home tidying

It's not about having someone take over your home. It's about having the right support so you can continue living independently and comfortably.

We work to match clients with support workers who understand their preferences, including language and cultural needs.

Talk to our team about your care and support options.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

It's an important opportunity to raise awareness of the abuse, mistreatment and neglect of older people, and to remind ourselves that everyone deserves to age with dignity, safety and respect.

This year, the campaign highlights the ways older women can experience ageism and gender inequality throughout their lives, and how these experiences can increase vulnerability to elder abuse.

At AMCS, we work alongside older people every day, supporting their wellbeing, independence and right to live free from abuse, discrimination and harm. We all have a role to play in creating communities where older people feel safe, valued and respected.

If you are experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing, elder abuse, help is available. Contact the free Elder Abuse Helpline on 1300 368 821, Monday to Friday, 10amโ€“5pm.

If you are concerned about an older person, encourage them to seek support or speak with a trusted health professional.
