Pretty wild news hearing that the mighty are calling it a day.
We've looked up to these guys for as long as we've played this music and feel so bloody grateful they agreed to play our 10th bday after party at the punters club a couple years back.
Friends, whether you've seen every gig or this would be your first time, make bloody sure you buy a ticket to their show at next Thursday before they're gone for good. Absolute legends of our local scene and deserve a massive send off.

This tune is our tribute to the great Mary Lou Williams — composer, bandleader, and often-overlooked mother of bebop. Written as an offering to the patron saint of music, it carries a dark, devotional groove and a melody that moves through past, present, and future all at once. Playing it feels like stepping into a lineage much bigger than us.
We’ve stayed close to the spirit of the original, honouring a composer whose influence shaped Monk, Dizzy, and Bird — and whose vision still echoes in the music we love today. Featuring a bass solo from our newest member Anton Schulz, recorded live at Oaklands Studio.
