Panton Hill 15.10-100 defeated Thomastown 11.6-72

The Bears ventured to A.E. Cracknell Reserve and bought along a number of former AFL players ( Jeff Garlett, Cameron Ellis-Yolmen and Lynden Dunn) to strengthen their side in the hope they could lift themselves off the bottom of the ladder. However the Redbacks were also looking to keep their season alive after a brilliant win last week against South Morang. At times both sides had the game in control, but a final quarter effort saw Panton Hill hold Thomastown goaless while the redbacks kicked 6 through the big sticks to run out eventual 28 point winners
