Bracing 🥶
Here's a look at today's satellite view of Australia 🛰️
1. A powerful cold front is moving into the Great Australian Bight which can be seen by the thick band of cloud followed by a large area of open cell cumulus cloud. This is bringing showers to south-west Western Australia. This front will bring damaging winds, raised dust, showers, thunderstorms, small hail, snow to alpine areas, abnormally high tides, and very large seas and swell with possible coastal erosion for south-east Australia on Monday and Tuesday.
2. A band of high cloud stretches across the country from Western Australia to New South Wales, but it remains mostly dry underneath. It will bring rain to inland NSW on Monday.
3. Patchy cloud across the tropical north is bringing some isolated showers and thunderstorms
4. Cloud increasing across north-west WA is bringing showers and patchy rain to parts of the Kimberley today. This will increase and become widespread on Monday and Tuesday, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall for much of northern WA and parts of western Northern Territory.
Elsewhere across the country there are dry and mostly sunny conditions.
