Baséput

Dear friends,

After much thought, I’ve decided to move all my music updates and artist name from Baséput to my main account, This wasn’t an easy decision to make.

I started Baséput back in 2019 as a creative outlet to explore modular synthesisers during my time at . At that point, I felt creatively stuck in my research, and I needed a new direction in my musical life. That’s when I discovered , , and many other inspiring people and spaces that profoundly shaped my sound. Through Baséput, I connected with amazing friends, both online and in real life.

As time passed and I moved back to Indonesia, I found myself juggling more responsibilities and gradually realised I couldn’t dedicate the same energy to Baséput as before. While the project still moves, albeit slowly, it no longer feels like something I can nurture fully. That said, I’ll continue making music, but now under my name: Rayhan Sudrajat.

Thank you so much to everyone who followed and supported Baséput all these years. This account will remain online as an archive, a quiet record of a beautiful journey. I genuinely appreciate every message, every listen, every conversation.
