BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 📣📣📣

We’re thrilled to announce that the incomparable Jack Chambers is joining Transit Dance as the new Lead Mentor of our Performing Arts Course.

From winning the very first season of So You Think You Can Dance Australia to performing on the world’s biggest stages, Jack has built one of Australia’s most celebrated careers across musical theatre, dance, film and television.

His extraordinary career includes Mary Poppins, Singin’ in the Rain, Burn The Floor, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, Elvis, Untapped! and touring the globe alongside Hugh Jackman in The Man. The Music. The Show.

A Helpmann Award nominee, Green Room Award winner (including Best Performer for Mary Poppins in 2024) and Australian Dance Award recipient, Jack has also inspired the next generation of performers as an international choreographer and educator, teaching at world-renowned institutions including the Joffrey Ballet School and Peridance Capezio Center in New York City.

Having worked with some of Australia’s most respected creative leaders, including Kelley Abbey, David Atkins and Jason Gilkison, and sharing the stage with artists such as Olivia Newton-John, Tina Arena, Robbie Williams, Neil Young and Keala Settle, Jack brings a wealth of experience that is simply unparalleled.

As a Lead Mentor, Jack will guide and inspire our students with the knowledge, professionalism and passion that have defined his remarkable career.
