🕺 Keeping Altona moving and grooving.

👷‍♂️ A temporary road at Maidstone Street, Altona is now open, allowing traffic to safely move through the area as works continue on the new road bridge.

🚗 Removing the level crossing will reduce congestion for the 14,400 vehicles that use the crossing each day.

👍 The Maidstone Street level crossing will be gone for good in 2027, with the Werribee Line level crossing free by 2029.

🅿️ Works are progressing on 400 new car spaces for passengers at Melbourne’s soon-to-be newest train station in West Tarneit.

🚉 West Tarneit Station will help take pressure off the existing Tarneit Station and improve access to transport in Melbourne’s west.

🦺 Crews have been laying asphalt covering 11,410 square metres across the future car park and bus interchange.

🚌 Located near the intersection of Davis and Leakes roads, the new station includes a 4-bay bus interchange and pedestrian and cycling connections to local streets.
