✨ What’s happening this April?

There’s a few Public Holidays this month:

April 3 - 6: Easter long weekend. 🐰

April 25: Anzac Day.

Make sure you check your contracts and awards to ensure any public holiday rates are paid for staff.

April 21: March monthly IAS is due to be lodged and paid.

April 28: Superannuation for March quarter payroll is due. Late lodgment penalties apply.

With March BAS due in May, now is a great time to review your cashflow, reconcile your software and upload any receipts for your accountant or bookkeeper.

February 21 - January IAS
February 28 - December BAS

If you’re self-lodging online, check the due dates in your ATO portal to avoid processing delays and penalties.

Not sure if you’re ready to lodge? Check these first 👇

* Does your bank balance reconcile at December 31?
* Does your payroll for the period match the amount reported to the ATO?
* Have you allocated GST correctly on your expenses? (tip: not all subcontractors are registered for GST - always review the invoice before claiming.)
