Specifically you will also be responsible for:

Responding and resolving security related incidents and provide detailed, clear and concise reports in a timely manner
Co-ordinating the team’s response in the event of emergency in line with the relevant plans and procedures
Communicating key issues and providing security for operational requirements as directed
Operating proficiently the security and safety technologies (ie: access control, electronic surveillance, fire and evacuation)
Providing accurate and timely information on health and safety, plant and property
Co-ordinating team training scenarios to ensure quality assurance of services

The successful candidates will bring to our team:

Control Room experience in the areas of electronic surveillance, access control, fire indicator panels, emergency warning intercommunication systems; and or other operating systems
Previous experience working in a similar role
Exceptional customer service & visitor management skills
A current Tasmanian Security Licence with Monitoring Room Operator endorsement
An Advanced First Aid Certificate (can agree to obtain once successful)
Sound understanding in emergency management and OHS
Proficient report writing and verbal communication skills
