We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team and work collaboratively with a Behavioral Support Practitioner to help establish and implement a tailored behavioral support plan.

👧 About the Participant:
You will be supporting a vibrant 7-year-old girl who is autistic and has a speech delay, voice disorder, and some behavioral challenges. She is full of personality—bubbly, loves dancing, and enjoys arts and crafts!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The Role:
This position involves working closely with the participant while also being mindful and inclusive of her family environment, as she is one of five children. Building positive relationships and creating a supportive, engaging atmosphere is key.

🕒 Availability Required:

Monday to Thursday
3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Experience or interest in behavioral support and working alongside practitioners
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to engage creatively (dance, crafts, play-based support)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

⭐ Support Worker Wanted — Caboolture (Male Participant)

We’re currently seeking compassionate, trauma-informed support workers (or naturally empathetic individuals with a strong understanding of trauma) to support a male participant based in Caboolture.

🕒 Available Shifts

Monday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Some weekend shifts

👉 The participant would ideally like two different support workers to share these shifts.

🎲 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting the participant while actively engaging in his interests, including:

Board games
Dungeons & Dragons (DND)
Swimming
Other shared activities

✅ What We’re Looking For

Trauma-informed approach (or strong empathy and understanding of trauma)
Qualified applicants strongly preferred
No preference for gender or age
Must be willing to genuinely participate in activities and build rapport
