A few pieces currently sitting on my wishlist lately.

This is exactly the kind of living room I’d design for a first apartment in the city.

An $11k budget, cool girl energy, slightly moody, slightly mid century, but still soft and elevated. Think rich brown leather, oversized art, warm lighting and sculptural pieces that make the space feel curated from day one.

I always like balancing stronger statement pieces with softer textures so the room still feels calm, inviting and lived in.

Everything in this carousel is what I’d personally choose for the brief, with the total at the end.

I offer virtual room design Australia wide for clients wanting this kind of curated, designer look without the overwhelm. My room packages start at $900 per room.

Which piece would you buy first?

This is probably the best way to describe my interior style without saying a word.

Warm timber, soft creams, aged textures, ambient lighting and that slightly moody European feel I always come back to. I love spaces that feel layered and lived in like they’ve been collected slowly over time.

When I put mood boards together, I’m usually focused on the feeling first. I want the space to feel calm, grounded and warm before anything else.

The more texture, depth and contrast the better.

You picked this cushion combo so I styled the entire room around it.

I kept the base soft and neutral so the blue stripe could feel fresh, then added a subtle mix of warmer tones to keep it feeling calm and lived-in. You could easily bring in a hint of olive, deeper brown, or even something a little moodier depending on the look you want.

Would you keep it like this or add a different colour somewhere?

What would you change?

Which one are you choosing

A. Soft and playful. Polka dot, vintage
B. Cool and vintage. Stripe and cowhide
C. Earthy and layered. Deeper tones, a bit moody
D. Warm and minimal. Tonal and structured

Each one changes the feel without changing the whole room

I’ve been manifesting some vintage European style plates. And today I scored a set for just 50c a piece. 🙊

This is why I love vintage/op shopping.

You never know what you’re going to find, and I feel like the things I do find, come to me.

What have you been manifesting for your home? Or what have you recently scored second hand? I’d love to know
