Hill End Rural Fire Brigade - Training Morning ✅
This morning our dedicated volunteers gathered for a solid skills refresh on radio communications and mapping – essential tools that keep us coordinated and effective when it matters most.
We ran a 'table top' scenario focused on a fire impacting our village, working through how brigade members would respond with resources available.
It was a valuable session that sharpened our teamwork. Huge thanks to everyone who turned up and contributed – your commitment keeps Hill End safer! 👏
We're always open to new members!
Whether you have experience or are completely new to firefighting, all are welcome. If you're interested in joining, protecting our community, and learning valuable skills alongside a great bunch of locals, get in touch or come down and say g'day.
No pressure – just good people doing important work together.
Stay safe out there, Hill End.

Shout Out
A shout out today to two members of the Hill End RFS Brigade who spent the weekend completing their Village Firefighter assessment.
Thanks to both Stewie and Chris for completing the course. Using live-fire equipment alongside members from many other Chifley brigades they engaged car, truck, property and gas cylinder fire-fighting techniques.
Sorry, no photo of the training as they were rather busy.
