📍 Last fortnight’s image was of Double Arch in Arches National Park, Utah, USA.

We think we’ve received a few entries from the United States already, just need to dig a little deeper to see if they’re from Orange County, California or Orange NSW.

It was great to see so many runners out and about around Mudgee over the weekend, already putting in the work for 23 August.

Whether you're training for the marathon, half marathon, 10km or 5km, the countdown is officially on. We can't wait to see everyone on the start line in 12 weeks' time. 🙌🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

📍Last week’s image was of Matsuyama Castle on the island of Shikoku (just across the inland sea from Hiroshima).
Dating back to the early 1600s, Matsuyama Castle is one of Japan’s few original surviving castles, with its wooden keep, stone walls and defensive structures still intact, offering a glimpse into Japan’s samurai era.
We haven’t received any MRF entries from Matsuyama yet, but there’s still plenty of time. 😊

🇯🇵 With Japan recently overtaking Indonesia (mainly Bali) as the number one Asian destination for Australian travellers, there’s a very good chance quite a few MRF shirts have been spotted over there lately. 😄

🏃‍♀️🏃Mudgee Region locals… you’re invited to join our free running group ahead of August’s Mudgee Running Festival. Whether you’re taking on the marathon, half, 10km or 5km Fun Run, these sessions will help you build fitness and keep you motivated as the weather cools.

The 1 hour training sessions, designed by Nick Kastelein Coaching, are suitable for all levels and open to all ages. There’s no pressure, and no need to be “fast” - just turn up, get moving and enjoy being part of our running community.

Children 12 years and under must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
