Kaizen Ink Tattoos

For the longest time I thought I had to act a certain way due to my appearance. I felt like I couldn’t be a tattoo artist without being edgy and I couldn’t be glam being this tattooed.

Why?

I’ve learnt over time that your appearance does not dictate your personality, hobbies, likes & wants. You don’t need to fit into a ‘stereotype’ box. Be YOU no matter your appearance. If you feel boxed in to being a certain way due to your looks, this is your sign to just do what makes you happy 💖

FYI ~ if you do fall in to a stereotype and that is just who you are, that’s awesome! That too is fab as long as you are being yourself ✨

Something I’ve noticed over the past years is that I’m on my phone a lot more since growing my business. Between marketing, planning, editing, orders, bookings etc. etc. etc. I’ve found myself looking like I’m addicted to my phone. I’m not.

(I’m addicted to work but that’s a whole other thing 👀)

The world is so online based now that it has become such a necessity. So instead of having a whine about it let me tell you my fav apps for business!

| My absolute fav for everything organization. Plan content, schedule reminders, store documents and so much more. Notion has been my bestie for a bit now and I’m obsessed. Tip: check out Etsy for notion templates suited to your needs!

| Everything bookings! All of my studios clients go through timely. I’ve found it really is a one stop shop to keep client records and it’s been my go-to for around 5 years now. Would highly recommend if you’re in the service industry and also need consultation forms. The app ‘Consult’ is integrated with Timely and works amazing.

| Photo editing central. I work on colour grading my images to be cohesive on socials all through Lightroom.

| Teams is great for communications between staff and the business. Can keep everything in one place that is separate to more personal use type apps.

Japan was so amazing. I already want to go back asap 😖

~ I got engaged hehe, then went and had dinner with a full city view in a private lounge dining space 💍
~ I went to Osaka castle, had a huge corn on the cob that was very yum and got to practice my Japanese! 🌽
~ Went on so many trains, both local and not, the carriages are so quiet 🤫
~ Saw cherry and plum blossoms! They are so pretty irl 🌸
~ Met the infamous No-face, he doesn’t say much 👀
