Super tough 2jz in a commodore!, I'm a bit biased.... but love this combo.

John from Ignite auto electrical gave us a call to build a turbo manifold and pipes for his 2jz and I jumped at the offer!

Running a built 2jz by Jeff Johnson and a Garrett g45 we first started with mounting the engine and gearbox with new chrome moly mounts as low and far back as practical.

Next mounting the turbo using billet header plate and merge collector we fabricated the turbo manifold with egt's and titanium hardware.

John then asked the question, can you weld Titanium?? I said yes! And YES we should! 👍
So from the wastegate and turbo titanium was used to create a 2" screamer and 4" exhaust to the diff 👌

Lastly on the plumbing side we mounted a 6" thick hypertune intercooler and fabricated 3.5" aluminium piping running plenty of sensors and dual 50mm BOV.

If anyone out there needs a set of bc coilovers for there vb-vl give us a shout! Just welded out this pair for a vk about to come through the shop for some custom fab.

They come with adjustable strut tops but if you require a nolathane or rubber top for street duties can easily adapt to suit.
