The beautiful Claudia, her bridesmaids + groomsman at Mandoon Estate ✨
One of my favourite bouquet design choices!!!
👉 each bridesmaid carrying a single flower variety (eg blue delph, butter yellow stock, white tulips)
👉 the bride’s bouquet softly ties everything together with a mix of blooms
And just one last moment for the colour palette and style 😍 soft blues and butter yellows for a wedding that felt soft and romantic.

🌸 ceremony flowers → reception cake flowers 🪄✨
The plinths were removed, the design was reshaped and they don’t even look repurposed! 🧚♀️
Same flowers, two locations! Ceremony florals on the stairs of the hidden gardens turned reception cake florals in the Main House at .
And this colour palette… the more I look, the more I fall in love 😍 soft creams, perfect peony pink, blush and pistachio tones 💚

I always get so many requests for this style of bouquet! If you’re drawn to this look but unsure how to describe it - it is known as a hand-tied garden-style bouquet, designed with layered movement and a soft, loose and romantic shape 🪽
This bouquet features premium garden roses, specifically David Austin English roses, paired with lisianthus, snapdragon and some light pink and white carnations tucked underneath for that soft, fluffy fullness 🫶🏻🌸

PART 1 💭 Pinterest can be an incredible tool for inspiration. But I also think it has quietly become one of the biggest reasons weddings are starting to feel disconnected from the actual couple at the centre of them.
The pressure to create a wedding that photographs well online has become so loud that many couples stop asking themselves a far more important question:
💭 “how do we actually want this to feel?”
The weddings people remember years later are rarely the ones that perfectly replicated a trend. They’re the ones where the atmosphere felt honest, intentional and personal.
I think Pinterest becomes dangerous when every saved image comes from a different world. Different architecture, different season, different budget, different floral availability, different guest counts… The list goes on and on. People start pinning fragments without understanding why something worked in the first place.
This is why I care so deeply about creative direction and atmosphere over trends. Trends move fast because the internet rewards novelty but weddings are emotional and personal, so I think couples deserve better than making decisions purely because something is currently popular online.
Your wedding does not need to prove that you have good taste to strangers online. It needs to feel like you walked into the room and somehow it already knew you before you arrived ✨
Stay tuned for part 2 and let me know in the comments if this has helped your wedding planning 🫶🏻

I say this time and time again but reception styling isn’t about just “making the space look pretty”…
It’s about shaping how the room ✨feels✨ when the guests walk in and especially when the couple walks in!
If you’re planning a Perth wedding and want your wedding to feel refined, intentional and unmistakably YOU, that’s exactly where I start and what I do 💁♀️ 🪄
