Thinking about marine science as a career, or know a student or class who might be? 🐳🌊

Thinking Blue is WAMSI’s education and outreach program that helps students explore the many career pathways behind marine science and ocean research.
The program connects Year 12 students with leading scientists working across a range of marine research areas. It also highlights the broad mix of roles that support ocean science, from fieldwork and data to planning, policy and communications.

Through real-world examples and career stories, Thinking Blue helps students see how different skills, interests and subjects can lead to careers connected to the marine environment.

Whether you are a student thinking about what comes next, or a teacher with a class interested in marine science and the blue economy, Thinking Blue can help start the conversation.
