Working in the heat is part of the job in our industry, but managing it safely is what matters most.

We recently welcomed heat stress expert Dr Matt Brearley to spend time with our crews, sharing practical advice on recognising and managing heat-related risks on site. We also captured a series of short videos to help keep these important messages front of mind.

It’s all part of our commitment to looking after our people and to staying proactive about health and safety.

Sunday 8th March is International Women’s Day, and we would like to recognise the women across Ausdrill who contribute their experience, leadership and professionalism to our business every day, whether on site or in the office.

We are also proud to announce a new partnership with Jobs Academy, a program developed by FW - Future Women and supported by the Federal Government to help women return to the workforce after time away.

Through this partnership, our people will volunteer as Resume and Interview Mentors, offering 1:1 support to help participants strengthen their resumes, improve their interview skills, and build confidence as they re-enter the workforce. Sometimes, practical support and shared experience can make all the difference.

Ausdrill is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Shotcrew personnel to support a Goldfields-based project. Kalgoorlie-based or FIFO. We’re looking for:
• Shotfirers
• Shot Crew Labourers
• MPU Operators

We’re offering permanent full-time positions with competitive hourly rates, 12% super paid on all hours worked, employee benefits and discounts, and genuine career progression across Ausdrill and the Perenti Group.

What you’ll need:
• Relevant experience for the role you’re applying for
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Strong safety focus
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (medical, DAS and a clear National Police Check)
