We are PDA aware! 🧠 PDA stands for ‘Pathological Demand Avoidance’ and is a profile within the Autism Spectrum. The “A” for avoidance, at its core, is due to an extreme anxiety caused by everyday demands. Individuals with PDA are frequently misconceived as being ‘defiant’. PDA is best described as “can’t NOT won’t”, where an individual feels that they are unable to meet a demand as opposed to simply not wanting to complete it.

May is Arthritis Awareness Month. works with individuals experiencing all types of arthritis- Osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile arthritis, septic arthritis, reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and with those who have a combination. We can assist with task modification, aids and equipment, home modifications, upper limb management, pain management techniques and strategies, and much more to improve your quality of life and meaningful engagement.
