The correlation between ADHD and accident outcomes is shocking. We don't cover all the stats in this video, but even the basics can be eye opening.

People with ADHD are 3/4 more likely to get a burn injury.
People with ADHD are 40-50% more likely to get injured by accident.
People with ADHD are 50% more likely to be involved in a serious transport accident.
People with ADHD are 23% - 1/3 more likely to be involved in a car accident.
People with ADHD (40% for boys and 60% for girls) are more likely to get a bone fracture.

It's important to note that there is research evidence to support medication prescribed for ADHD reduces the rate of these accident outcomes. As a coaching service, Zoned In strongly encourages those with ADHD or considering if they have ADHD to seek guidance from medical professionals (your GP and psychiatrist) relating to all matters regarding the medical treatment of ADHD.

Do you always get mystery bruises? Have you been in a few car accidents? Did you break more bones than your siblings/friends as a kid and think of yourself as clumsy?

If you have ADHD, it might be playing a part in those accidents.

ADHD is a serious condition, and it's a real condition. Addressing ADHD through medical treatment has the most significant, beneficial, treatment outcomes, and Zoned In, as a coaching service, strongly encouraged anyone seeking treatment for their ADHD to seek advice and consultation from medical professionals.
