Over the last couple of years, my heart has found its home in grassroots rugby 🏉❤

At the 2024 SportWest Awards, Ellenbrook Vipers Rugby Union Club was named Community Club of the Year — a proud moment and a reminder of what can happen when passionate people bring their skills together.

I didn’t grow up playing rugby — I found it through my partner and son, who both thrive in this sport because rugby truly is for everyone, no matter your background, shape, size, or gender. And the more I got involved, the more I saw the overlap between the work I do and how strong clubs grow.

I truly believe that great sports clubs — like great businesses — are built on the same foundations: structure, identity, purpose, and people. Throughout my career, I’ve often stepped into roles or projects without having every qualification first — but I show up with a willingness to learn and a drive to lead with heart. That’s what I bring to business, to my clients, and that’s what I bring to the rugby community too.
