What started as a Landscape Photography assignment in stunning Mossman Gorge, Queensland, pivoted into a portrait/model session with my beautiful daughter, Calista. Pleased the image will be published in the new book.

Fiordland Calm: Last embers of light at Milford Sound, New Zealand.
A much photographed location but the notoriously fickle West Coast weather always ensures every visit is different. On this occasion, a very high tide forced me to photograph from the marsh grasses above the submerged shore. A long exposure of 60 secs, using a Lee ND filter and sturdy tripod enhanced the calmness of the scene. For composition I have used diagonals and leading lines of natural features to take the eye from the foreground to the steep mountains in the background.
